Overview

Learn the history of the Northern Crusades and the country of the monks which became a Medieval power in the South Baltic region. It was in the 13th century when first Teutonic Order monks came to Poland with the task of christianizing the pagans in the neighboring Prussia. They were successful in their mission and gradually exerted control over Prussian lands, which within 100 years were covered with a very dense network of castles.
