Nicolaus Copernicus is one of the most famous Poles. He was a Renaissance-era genius – astronomer, mathematician, economist, psyhician and diplomat. Copernicus lived not sofar from Gdansk, in Frombork and Olsztyn. The „Copernican Revolution” was the first heliocentric model in Renaissance sholarschip.
